Downtown Minneapolis diners have a new weekend dinner option. On May 1, the Saloon celebrated the grand opening of its new Fire Bar & Restaurant. It’s available for fine dining Friday and Saturday evenings only, 5-10 PM. Reservations are suggested.
Diners may choose from a broad range of moderately priced entrées, including Atlantic Salmon, Sauté Jumbo Shrimp, New York Strip, Hand-Cut Beef Filet Mignon, Hand-Cut Choice Prime Rib, St. Louis Half Rack of Ribs, and Pork Chops. All entrées are served with soup or tossed salad; choice of homemade au gratin potatoes, baked potato, or wild rice; chef’s choice of vegetable of the day; and fresh bread. Steaks are Certified Angus Beef®.
