The dinner featured guest speakers Antonio Cardona and Beth Zemsky, along with entertainment by Erin Schwab and Jay Fuchs.

Intermedia Arts Queer Voices Reading Series Heads to the Guthrie

For its annual Queer Voices Reading Series to coincide with Pride, Intermedia Arts is partnering with the Guthrie Theater to present 20 local writers to the community on June 14, 7 PM, at The Guthrie McGuire Proscenium Stage. By working with the Guthrie, Intermedia Arts was able to double the number of readers from last year. With the economic downturn, the organization lost all its funding in December 2008, but has managed not only to stay alive, but also to double its efforts for Pride, with an all-volunteer-led group. It goes to show the popularity of the continued work and efforts of Intermedia Arts to promote new and upcoming local writers.
