Saloon Hosts Pre-Cruise Party and Post-Cruise Show

One of the most popular annual Pride events is always the Pride Boat Cruise. For the third year in a row, the Imperial Court of Minnesota (ICOM) is sponsoring the Pride Boat Cruise on June 21, exactly a week before the Pride parade and festival, aboard the Minneapolis Queen paddleboat of Paradise Charter Cruises.

The Pride Boat Cruise departs at 5 p.m. from Bohemian Flats, 2200 West River Parkway, Minneapolis — just north of the University of Minnesota West Bank and the Washington Avenue Bridge. Boarding takes place 15 minutes prior to departure. Entertainment on board is karaoke.

The Saloon bar, 830 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, is hosting a pre-party on June 21, starting at 3 p.m. It features drink specials, and the kitchen will be open. A bus to the boat leaves the Saloon at 4 p.m., and a second trip will be made if necessary. The bus will also return passengers to the Saloon after the cruise. A post-cruise show takes place at the Saloon, with no cover.

Tickets for the Pride Boat Cruise are $25 in advance. Purchase them online at www.impcourtmn.com/event.htm. Tickets will also be on sale at the dock from 4 p.m. to the departure time on the day of the cruise.

Serving the community since 1992, ICOM is a local nonprofit that raises thousands of dollars each year for local charitable organizations.
