Changed for the worse.

That’s what they always say

When I change

When I grow

When I elevate a level.

It always hurts.

Like when they deny me

Exclude me

Dismiss me

It hurts

So rather than continue to be hurt

I rise

I elevate

I change and grow

Transcend.

And they notice

And complain.

 I’ve changed.
