The Zombie Apocalypse is nearly here! On Saturday, October 13, the walking dead will take over and roam the streets of Minneapolis and St. Paul in search of brains…and beer.

This year marks the eighth year of the Zombie Pub Crawl, and the celebration is bigger than ever. Not only is the traditional West Bank pub crawl happening, but Midway Stadium in St. Paul is being transformed into Zombie Island complete with live music, carnival rides, and an attempt to break the world record for “Largest Gathering of Zombies.” Take it from someone who got caught in the middle of the zombie swarm last year—this gathering is not one to be missed. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.zombiepubcrawl.com.

If you’d rather dance with death, attend the Imperial Court of Minnesota’s First Annual Zombie Ball at the Saloon on Saturday night. Though the doors open at 10pm, people are encouraged to visit the “Zombie Spa” from 6-9pm to get “Zombified.” With Zombie performances and drink specials, this event benefits The Aliveness Project.
