The generous Hennepin Theatre Trust has given many artists a voice through its Made Here efforts. Made-Here Intersections: Visible Bodies: Transgender Narratives Retold – Twin Cities has benefited from that effort. From Hannah Quinn Rivenburgh:”I am a queer artist. My queerness erupts from a deeply felt sense of myself in the world. I instinctually desire a world in which a multiplicity of identities, of personhoods, of ways of being are ecstatically celebrated. I am genderqueer, identifying as neither male nor female, but as something beyond or quite possibly to the side. This ebb and flow within my body and my being allows me to see the world akilter, and envision new possibilities for relating to each other as fully realized and fully seen human beings. Intersections provided a fitting platform for this exploration. I aimed to explore violence and erasure, even within the realm of children, words, and animals.”
