Watch our video invitation:
Do you know a young person who would benefit from learning mindfulness techniques such as meditation, breathing exercises and other centering practices to help them manage stressful situations? Do you work with youth and are searching for new tools to help them manage in an increasingly stressful, traumatized world? Are you a young person who is inspired to heal your hurt, add your voice to the collective conversation and create a better future? Join us!
We are specifically seeking a vibrant cross-cultural mix of participants. If you know someone who will add and/or receive extraordinary value through their participation, feel free to reach out across race, class, culture or age and invite them to join you!
Speakers will include researchers in healing and trauma-informed practices, experts in community and more. There will be featured youth performances by the Irreducible Grace Foundation and the Ikidowin Youth Theater Ensemble at Indigenous Peoples Task Force!

About the Catalyst Initiative at The Minneapolis Foundation
Catalyst Initiative is a field of interest fund of The Minneapolis Foundation designed to build integrative health and healing in Minnesota. Our purpose is to honor and foster culturally authentic self-care practices to advance health and well-being. Catalyst taps into our innate power to heal and be well through two primary approaches: self-care as primary care and culturally meaningful trauma healing practices.
