About the Event
Join Reading Partners Twin Cities at Moon Palace Books as we celebrate the new school year.
Hear from Executive Director Brooke Rivers about Reading Partners and our plans for the 2018-19 school year, followed by an in-depth conversation between award-winning authors Bao Phi and Lauren Stringer.
Following their discussion, join us for a social hour where you can meet the authors, get to know the Reading Partners team, and connect with Reading Partners volunteer tutors from across the Twin Cities. Books will be available from the authors as well as for a book drive to support Reading Partners’ program. Light food and refreshments from Geek Love Cafe will be provided.
All are welcome to learn more about Reading Partners and hear from our amazing authors. Tickets are $10 to cover the costs of the event and will be capped at event space capacity. If you purchase a ticket and cannot make the event, please contact us to release the space for others.
