Join us for our annual fall campus-wide event! Open studios, 100+ local artists and makers, live music, food trucks, and custom cocktails by Vikre Distillery in our Basement Speakeasy.
Our many talented tenant artists will open their studios to show and sell exciting new work in painting, sculpture, jewelry, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, photography, installation art, and more.
The entire Casket Arts campus will be alive with activity, from jewelry-makers at Quench Jewelry Arts, to live folk and americana music on the 4th floor, to sculpture in the NE Sculpture Gallery Factory… not to mention open studios and hallways filled with the best artists in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
Vikre Distillery (based in Duluth) will be back to set up their Basement Speakeasy, serving custom cocktails and beer from 612Brew all weekend long, alongside live music Friday night and a burlesque review on Saturday night.

•Food trucks: The Bark And The Bite & The J. Mobile (100% plant based)
•Cocktails by Vikre and beer by 612Brew, proceeds benefitting arts nonprofit NEMAA
•Spark Y Happy Hour on Friday, 4-7pm, cocktails from J. Carver Distillery and brief STEM-related demos
•The Feminist Strip Club, Friday 6:30-9:30, by Monica Sheets, Basement Studio 4. Get a glimpse of the inner-workings of a strip club by joining The Feminist Strip Club in the VIP Room. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn what the current strip club landscape looks like, including how dancers are paid and treated and what they’d like to change about their work. This is a drop-in performance, come anytime during open hours. Come back Saturday, 1:30-3:30 for the Cakewalk & Bake Sale to help support The Feminist Strip Club explore utopian visions for what stripping could be.
•NE Sculpture Gallery (in the Factory building out back) will be exhibiting Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, new work by Mary Johnson & Andrew MacGuffie
•The Casket Arts Sculpture Quad will feature the Transparent Spirit Elevation Chamber by Mary Jane Mansfield. Walk through these doors into a world of wonder! Be at one with the magnificent magical world of nature! T.S.E.C. is a temporary, portable Public Art installation activated through Performance Art. It is specifically designed to foster community participation.
•WOW Mobile Metal Lab by Sara Hanson will be holding metal casting workshops in the Sculpture Quad on Friday and Saturday
•Live folk & americana music on the 4th floor, jazz on Saturday, and a burlesque review on Saturday night at the Basement Speakeasy.
