Join Today Show-featured gay Lutheran and National Cathedral countertenor singer, Mikah Meyer, for a cabaret performance of songs, humorous stories, and soul-stirring messages from his nonstop, 3-year road trip to all 417 National Park Service sites. As heard on NPR, Mikah has spent the past 2.5 years living in a cargo van while setting a world record as the youngest person to visit the entirety of the National Park System. He’s been using the 1,000+ pieces of media attention to share a carpe diem message inspired by his father’s passing from cancer, to break stereotypes about LGBT people, and to foster acceptance for LGBT Christians. To keep this project going he “sings for his supper” at churches across the United States and the support from Cabaret shows like this goes to the project’s expenses.
