inVISIBLE | a juried show
In recognition of World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2019, UCare hosts a pop-up juried exhibition in partnership with CIRCA Gallery to spread awareness of issues and support opportunities related to mental wellness.
This exhibition highlights the connection between mental health, art, and social change in Minnesota. inVISIBLE strives to increase the visibility of these common issues in our community by providing a space that normalizes conversation about mental health.
Join us for the opening reception of the show Thursday, October 10th from 5:00-7:30pm. This event is free and open to the public.
The pop-up show will be on view through Saturday, October 12th.
Founded in 1984, UCare is an independent, nonprofit health plan that provides health coverage and services such as Medicare, Medicaid, Individual and Family health plans across Minnesota. At UCare, we’re proactive, anticipating members’ needs and doing what’s best for them. This advocacy brings our people-powered health plans to life every single day.
CIRCA seeks to provide awareness, inspiration and appreciation for contemporary art, while supporting sustainable practices for artists. For nearly 30 years, CIRCA has provided the Twin Cities community with art from local, national, and international contemporary artists. We believe that having original art in life – whether at home, in the office, or at a gallery – significantly impacts a person’s disposition, productivity, and outlook.
