Saint Paul’s Highland Park neighborhood will once again be home to Highland Fest Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22. The 35th annual three-day festival for the whole family will take place along Ford Parkway from Finn Avenue to Howell Street. The event is free and open to the public with food and beverages for sale.
Popular traditions of Highland Fest include live music from fun local bands, a juried art fair on Saturday and Sunday featuring the creative works of dozens of artists, St. Paul Police K9 Unit demos, wiener dog races, Movie in the Park (Moonstruck on Friday) a business fair, a community village, a home improvement village, the “Oh Hi There Highland Fest 5K,” a wide array of food vendors, Breakfast in the Park, and a beer tent.
The All-Ford Car and Truck Show on Sunday will commemorate the 86-year history of the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant (9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Ford Parkway between Kenneth and Howell). Participants are welcome. Check-in and same day registration will begin at 9 a.m.
Hours for the 2018 Highland Fest are Friday, July 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
