Uncovering Gay History In San Francisco

The New York Times reports that when one thinks of gay San Francisco, this isn’t usually what comes to mind, but the National Park Service has started a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history initiative, mapping out dozens of hidden gems with unacknowledged ties to gay culture.
