Japan’s First Out Gay Lawmaker Vows Same-Sex Marriage ‘Will Happen’

Advocate.com reports that Taiga Ishikawa, Japan’s first openly gay male lawmaker, won a seat in the upper house, the House of Councillors, by running on a platform supporting marriage equality as part of the Constitutional Democratic Party.
