Author Could Not Find Books On Gay Steelworkers, So She Wrote One

NWI.com reports that the story of two women who worked in a local steel mill and hid the fact that they were lesbians and romantically involved is just one of the stories that Indiana University Northwest English professor Anne Balay gathered while interviewing 40 gay steelworkers for her book, “Steel Closets: Voices of Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Steelworkers”.
