LMFAO! You got carded? I can’t believe it. What happened to drag etiquette? NEVER ID a DQ!

I was carded at this one str8 bar where I was to perform. Because I didn’t have my card on me (like HELLO, I’m the act and I only pack what I need) they wouldn’t let me drink. They did eventually let me in after I started screaming for the organizers of the event. lol!

On perez using the f-word (well, the OTHER one)…

1. A lot of gays throw that word around. In anger, in jest, as a part of reclaiming it to make it less hurtful, or as a way to be hurtful…

3. While the ideal is that the word goes away into the ether to never be uttered again, it ain’t gonna happen, and it will always be known and used outside (and sometimes even inside) polite company.

4. The only way LGBT folk are going to stop being hurt by certain words is if they manage to stop having hypersensitive reactions to said words and placing lots of value into the opinions of those who dare to utter them in a hateful manner.
