Eggs are very expensive here in the UK at about £1.50 for 6.

I used to buy eggs that were from chickens that were free range, served meals on silver platters and were taken on walking holidays and alowed to form bonds with other chickens in a same sex environment, but they were too fucking expensive, so I went to farm fresh. Duck eggs are £4.00 per dozen. I could go on, but you know what I am like with the food porn lol

Just wondering, Wanda, do you have a Whole Foods near you? The hubby works for them, and he tells me they source their food ethically, and whenever i’ve gone in, they offer the choice between organic and locally-grown veggies. They also offer loads of protien options that aren’t meat-based. I’m a vegan-esque person (I cheat on chocolate from time to time), so the alternative sources of protien are vital to my life.

There are sites out there on the inter-toobz that deal with being vegetarian and weight lifting, and from what I’ve read, it’s all a matter of what you read, and how you manage your diet. I do know they sell soy protein shake powder…
