Wanda, I think you are so right about the republican party. Demographically it can’t last in its present form. Maybe the two-party system will finally break down and the corporations won’t have so much influence on political discourse. Or maybe I’m just dreaming.
You said that the Republican Party is on its way out UNLESS economic strife brings about xenophobia and jingoism.
Don’t you think the Repooplicans, if they win this time around will create the economic strife necessary. What do you think the endless “U S A” chants and the LOU DOBBS perspective on foreigners buying up America is all about?
