    FYI, Della Reese is not dead yet! And yes, I had to wiki her to be sure. I would have been devastated if that were true. Especially since she was one of my most recent celebrity encounters, at the valet of a West Hollywood hotel I was staying at about 2 years ago. She was driving her own vehicle (a Lexus SUV or something of that nature, and she was looking fabulous I might add), AND is still apparently alive and kicking to this day at the ripe ol’ age of 77.

    RIP Estelle!!!
