Wanda Wisdom,

Great podcast today! I could definitely relate to a lot of the feelings you were talking about. I am one of those people that has always been "in-shape" and I certainly wonder if I take it for granted.
My parents fed me pretty healthy as a kid, and I eat even healthier now. Both of my parents are overweight, so I guess I just figured I would begin eating healthy and exercising now, so that I wouldn't have to worry about losing weight in the future. I also wanted to have "the perfect body" so that people would like me. We all know that that is not the way it works.
Despite always being "in-shape", I have always had a pretty negative self-image. Nevertheless, I do wonder how my life perspective whould be changed if I had the experince of being overweight. I truly believe, thanks to the media, we will always be unhappy with something in our lives. ESPECIALLY our bodies! No matter what!!!
So, I just expect that I will always be unhappy with my body. I do what makes me feel best and for the moment, I love excersise and the way it makes me feel. I also love the novelty (Am I crazy?) of "the runs" that come with eating healthy on a regular basis so that when I do eat unhealthy, it has a negative impact on my digestion...
