Wanda, thanks for sharing your stories on Santa and Christmas. A great story I remember from my younger years. My uncle came over to pick me up and we went to the store to get some groceries. It was a cold Christmas, but no snow. When we got back home, my mom comes running outside pointing to the sky. She’s all: “Scott, Scott, you missed it. Santa just left. Did you see him?” I’m smart…”No, mom, there is no snow, how could his sleigh have landed here?” She could be pretty quick herself. “No, he was in a helicopter!” She had me for at least another few years!

Until she killed my hamster! Mom didn’t want it in the house when we moved to a new place. So, she had me put it in the carport, this is still Wisconsin…it’s May….the damn little thing FROZE! I buried him in the front yard with cross made of sticks as a marker.

Wanda, thank you for sharing your stories and bringing back great memories for me!

Wow… I was totally picturing some metallic robot chimp. This thing actually looks real. Looks pretty creepy if you ask me.
