    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Ok iTunes has done it again. It cut the download off at 34:56. I’m assuming the show is longer than that. I guess I’ll wait til this afternoon, resubscribe and try it again.

Wanda, I love you and your show like I love cake. mmmmm, cake!

Anyway, I’m hoping you’ll do me a GREAT favor. One of my best friends in the whole world is living in one of them suburbs 30 min. outside of Minneapolis, stuck with a miserable job she hates and she barely has enough money to pay her rent… She’s looking for jobs/companies closer to downtown that she would be happy at.

She’s looking for Marketing/Advertising positions, preferably NOT with a software company (she’s more into fashion/makeup, etc). Please let me know if you have any connections or recommendations that would help her.

THANKS SO MUCH, my dear Wanda. Have a blessed day.

Well, I did what I said and it looks like I’ve got the full show now. iTunes needs to stop fuckin’ with me. Sorry Wanda.

Oh, and Wanda, I think you might be having an email problem. If you’re just behind on emails, disregard this comment. About a month and a half ago, I sent you a very long email all about myself to your gmail address. I never got a reply to that, so I figured it was just me screwing up somehow. But a little over a week ago, I wrote you a very long explaination about the new series of Doctor Who. I sent that to wanda@luckybitchradio.com, and sadly I don’t think you’ve gotten that yet either. Like I said, if you’re just a couple weeks behing on emails, just ignore this, but otherwise I think there’s a technical problem-o somewheres. :(

I looooooove that movie! I’m talking about “Trick” now. It’s one of my favorite movies.

For those who have no idea what I’m talking about it was that quote “Ever got cum in your eye, Gabriel?” which Wanda said in the middle of this episode.

I first saw “Trick” in London in 2001. I was there on vacation with my ex boyfriend in late July 2001 and we were staying at a gay hostell in Hendon Central, in the north part of London. I came back from shopping - probably on Oxford Street - and some of the guests were watching this movie on video and were quite a bit into the movie when I got in… I think it was the scene where Mark get off the subway train just to talk to Gabriel… I merely sat down on a couch and watched the rest of the movie with them and loved it.

I loved it so much that I ordered it on DVD once I got back home to Sweden and only then I discovered how much of the movie I had missed before I started watching it in London.

If you have a bunch of chicken bones, with or without bits of meat attached, it’d be shame not to make stock out of it sweetie. Throw that bitch, fat and all into a big pot, chase it with an onion… roughly chopped, some celery if you have it, some carrots and garlic and salt and pepper … simmer with a lid on for a couple of 3 or 4 hours and child! You have you a base for some of the best meals you’ll ever have. Whenever we have a roasted chicken I always do that and then make red beans and rice the next day or white beans or a stew or chili!!! OMG i have to go eat.

Ok Wanda that makes me feel so much better that you’re atleast getting my emails. I thought I was just tossing them into the abyss or something.

I loved your story about your babysitter. It brought me right back to my memories of being a teenager… which was of course only 6 months ago, but I loved the story nonetheless. :)

That “large woman on Good Times” was Esther Rolle, who I LOVE. She was originally the housekeeper on “Maude” with Bea Arthur, and they spun the whole thing off into a series for her. I loves me some Esther Rolle! I believe she passed in 1998.

    Great show W.W.!

    XO, A.

Wanda, darling! I just voted for LBR (along with Feast of Fools and Eat This Hot Show), when I realized that I stopped posting/emailing after subscribing to my favorite podcasts on iTunes…

So I thought I’d let you know I still listen, still love the show (and all the sunshine/wisdom/wonder you bring to my iPod) and still love ya.

    xoxo
