“The Bush Smoke and MIrrors Show” is back for another REPEAT performance. Bush is lagging again in the polls, Rove is under the scope, so a new “enemy” has to be created to get the public’s eyes off the real issues and problems of this current Administration (a failing war in Iraq, a failure in our efforts to secure our own borders, and the ever threat of terrorism).

Rumsfeld’s announcement today is, sadly, no surprise to me. Iranians today, gay marriage yesterday, it’s all part of the deception campaign to keep Americans dumb and uniformed.

I yearn for the Clinton years as well.

Please put the promos at the end of the show.
Also, the last sentence I got before the show cut off (prematurely), was “Come hell or high water, they’re going in to Iran.” This ocurred at 29:06.I am interested in this topic and really want to get the rest of the show.
All other podcasts I subscribe to, such as…
Feast of Fools, Ongline, Fox and the City, Yeast Radio, UFN Show, dont cut out prematurely before the show has finished. I know you are aware of
the problem I am having with this. Do you have any other suggestions other than downloading from the website (which sux because if I need to use the phone, all that i have already downloaded is lost and I must start at the beginning).
I contacted Purecast and JR promised to look into it. I agree with you that Purecast seems like a great company. Very responsive and friendly. JR at Purecast seemed a little surprised when you suggested that the problem I may be having was due to the server. I think it’s great that you and he got together on this.
I love your show and want to hear all of it from start to finish (with the promos at the end, please)
Please continue to work with Purecast to figure out what the cut offs are about. I have always been ready to listen to you and Purecast’s suggestions for how I can avoid getting a fragmented show. Your download from website suggestion is just a little impractical for me. I eagerly await a better idea for a work around or fix for this issue.
Briefly, I have dell laptop which I use to listen to the shows thru windows media player, dialup connection, lots of disk space, no limits on megs for downloads, I am currently running iPodder Lemon version (but have tried iTunes, DopplerRadio as well) YOUR show is the only one
that I get cut off shows.
I have read thru all your listener comments and have seen this problem before from other people.
How did they fix this? Or did the influx of iTunes subscribers mask the drop off of people who could not reliably get your whole show?
i dont mean to sound like a prick, Wanda. Believe me, if i didnt love your show, I wouldnt
give a shit about getting the show. I would simply unsubscribe and that would be it.
But, you have a product I want, and I have pleged to myself that I intend to be just as relentless as the problem I am experiencing getting your whole show without it being cut off too soon.

scooter, I’ve been having the same problem with the show through iTunes. About once or twice a week, I’ll only get the first 20-40 minutes of the show. The only reason I’ve been able to figure out for this happening is that I was also downloading two or three other shows (from other people) at the same time. What I usually end up doing is just deleting that show, and redownloading that episode alone. The only problem with this is that once I’ve deleted that episode, it doesn’t allow me to simply “Get” it again. So I have to clear the whole feed and search and resubscribe to Lucky Bitch Radio. I’m not sure what exactly the “real” problem is and the solution isn’t perfect because it’s a lot of extra work, but it’s worth it to me because it’s a show that I love.
