New Media Account Executive
Lavender Magazine (Mpls/St. Paul’s top GLBT magazine) is perfect for the person who enjoys challenging work. We are looking for a sales associate who will put energy and commitment into their work each day. Lavender Media encompasses a biweekly print publication, an iPad app, online magazine, a website, BigGayNews, and other podcasts. The New Media Account Executive will need to be well-versed in all media platforms, particularly with marketing and developing relationships for the online products, including podcasts and videos. Demonstrated knowledge of the products will be key as will highlighting how an all-inclusive media plan involving print, online, and new media offerings can best suit our current and potential advertisers.
You generate your own leads and do cold calling to potential clients. As you expand your client base your compensation will grow. Sales experience preferred. Lavender wants to find the right person to work with the current team. You will need to be goal driven, have a great attitude, a proven ability and a desire to be the best.
The right candidate will be responsible for selling new media solutions including multi-platform advertising such as digital, print, and event sponsorships through relationship building and on-going account management.

Compensation based on performance.
After probation period, pay will be 100% commission.
